The Fresno Chaffee Zoo’s African Adventure project took 21 months to complete and occupies a footprint of 13 acres.  While embarking on their African Adventure, visitors to the new exhibit complex will be able to see wildebeests, ostriches, zebras, giraffe, and rhinos on a vast African plain along with African elephants and lions, each on separate exhibits.
